Co-hosted by VCET and Hotel Vermont, the series kicks off in November
Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET) and Hotel Vermont are thrilled to announce Season Two of the Female Founder Speakers Series. Last year’s events saw over 400 attendees and raised over $5,000 for some of VT’s most vital non-profits. Season Two will present three events: November 29th, January 22nd, and March 12th. Each event will feature a remarkable panel of speakers from a unique industry, as well as appetizers, cash bar, and unparalleled networking opportunities.
Celebrating female entrepreneurs from around the state, Season Two will continue to share what it takes to start a company from the ground up. Each speaker will share the story of their business, including lessons learned, why they chose to start their business in Vermont, and how our community can best support entrepreneurs. There will also be plenty of time for Q&A.
The first event, “Building a Global Brand”, kicks off Wednesday, November 29th from 5:30-7pm featuring the incredible women leaders from Burton Snowboards, including Donna Carpenter, co-founder and CEO, Anne Marie Dacyshyn, Chief Marketing Officer, Elysa Walk, GM Americas Sales, Josee Larocque, SVP Operations, and Beth Steele, VP National Accounts, Sales.

The cost of the event is $15 per person, per event, and 100% of proceeds for the series will benefit Vermont Works for Women, which “helps women and girls recognize their potential and explore, pursue, and excel in work that leads to economic independence.” Tickets are limited so interested parties are encouraged to secure their tickets ASAP through sevendaystickets.com.
